GEOSYM - Geophysical measurement systems

The company GEOSYSM, founded in autumn 2005, aims at offering geophysical measurement
systems for, in particular, shallow seismic refraction and reflexion surveys.

The seismic sources have been conceived, developped and prototype tested by the Leibniz Institute
for Applied Geosciences (GGA-Institute), Hannover (www.gga-hannover.de). The GGA-Institute
holds the patent rights.

Geosym covers a wide product range useful for shallow seismic acquisition such as impulse sources
and portable vibrators for P and S waves (SISSY, ElViS III P8, ElViS III S1, ElViS III S8). Moreover you
will find the appropriate recording systems as well as auxiliary equipment and spare parts.

Various surveys have been successfully performed in the framework of national and international
projects of the GGA-Institute and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR),
Hannover.

GEOSYM offers commercialization of equipment, test measurements as well as training courses and,
on request, executes surveys.
